Safety Officer Job Opening (Aramco Approved) – Juaymah
A long-term opportunity is available for an experienced Safety Officer to join a major industrial project in Juaymah. The role is suited for professionals with strong HSE backgrounds in oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or energy sector projects, particularly those with Aramco approval and previous Saipem project experience.
Role Overview
The selected Safety Officer will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing site safety performance. Responsibilities include conducting regular site safety inspections, monitoring ongoing daily activities, and ensuring full compliance with project safety procedures.
Key duties also involve:
- Reviewing work permits and conducting risk assessments
- Identifying hazards and supporting incident investigations
- Providing on-site safety guidance to workers and supervisors
- Ensuring proper use of PPE at all times
- Delivering toolbox talks to promote safety awareness
- Coordinating with site teams to resolve safety concerns promptly
- Maintaining accurate safety documentation and reports
- Supporting continuous improvement in HSE performance
Requirements & Qualifications
Applicants must meet strict project requirements, including valid Aramco Safety Officer approval and proven experience in relevant industrial environments.
Essential criteria include:
- Prior experience on Saipem projects (mandatory requirement)
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Expertise in hazard identification and risk control methods
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Valid Vendor Code (mandatory)
