Job Title: Sr. Executive/Asst. Manager Purchase
Name of Organization: Welspun BAPL Private Limited (Earlier Known as Sintex BAPL)
Job Location: Kurali Phata, Chakan
Department: Purchase
Reports to: HOD – Purchase
Key Duties:
▪ Responsible PO release for direct (BOP), indirect, CAPEX, OPEX PO’s
▪ Work closely with plant buyers
▪ Creating quote comparisons to select suppliers based on quotes
▪ Negotiating commercial terms with supplier i.e. price, MOQ, delivery terms, payment terms etc.
▪ Provide solutions to improve spends & outsourcing
▪ Gather & manage all information regarding pricing of BOM items
▪ Source & organize transportation & shipping at competitive prices, fast shipping terms to meet deadlines & delivery dates to met
▪ Work on monthly purchase MIS. Get required details from plant purchase team or extract from ERP/ SAP system
▪ Knowledge of Import & Export
Requirements:
▪ Bachelor’s degree in engineering
▪ Proven experience & understanding of sourcing, procurement & logistics process
▪ Strong negotiation skills
▪ Sound time management & organizational skills
▪ Hands on experience with ERP system. SAP ERP will be added advantage
▪ Excellent documentation & analytical skills
▪ Sound with Microsoft office i.e. tools like excel & Power point
▪ Experience in SAP
▪ Total Experience 4-6 Year in Auto or relevant industry
▪ Strong communication skills
