Job Opportunity: Procurement Officer Required
We are currently seeking a highly qualified Procurement Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process for our construction projects.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on the construction field.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures.
- Proven track record of successfully managing procurement activities.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Transferable Iqama is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Review and analyze purchase requisitions, identify suitable suppliers, and obtain price quotations.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement activities align with project timelines.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
