Job Title: Chromium-Based Web Browser Developer
Responsibilities:
Chromium Customization:Customize and extend the Chromium browser to meet the specific requirements of our project.
Implement features and functionalities to enhance user experience and performance.
Browser Architecture:Have a deep understanding of Chromium's architecture and be able to make modifications as needed.
Optimize browser performance and memory usage.
Cross-Platform Development:
Develop the browser for various platforms, ensuring a consistent and seamless experience across different operating systems.
Security and Privacy:Implement and maintain security measures to ensure the browser is secure against potential threats.
Address privacy concerns and implement features to enhance user privacy.
Web Standards:
Stay updated on the latest web standards and implement them in the browser.
Ensure compatibility with modern web technologies.
Collaboration:Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, product management, and quality assurance to deliver a high-quality product.
Collaborate with open-source communities and contribute to the Chromium project.
Debugging and Optimization:Identify and fix bugs in the browser codebase.
Optimize code for better performance and responsiveness.
Requirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in Chromium-based web browser development.
Strong proficiency in C++, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages.
In-depth knowledge of web technologies, browser architecture, and standards.
Familiarity with cross-platform development for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
