Research Assistant Position at Image Analysis and Computer Vision Lab, IISc
We are looking for Research Assistants at the IACV Lab, Department of Electrical Engineering, IISc to work on a Government Funded Project on Multi-modal Fake News Detection.
Brief Project Description: The goal of this project is to leverage the information between an image and its associated text to understand whether the information is real or fake. This is extremely important since rapid spread of fake news is harmful to the society. Thus, this research area is gaining increasing attention in the research community.
Job responsibilities: Developing novel algorithms to overcome the different challenges in multi-modal fake news detection and also help create an India-specific dataset. The findings will be published in top-tier conferences.
Requirement: B.Tech/MTech in EE/CSA/related fields, with a strong background in image processing, deep learning. Proficiency in coding is important.
Duration of project: 1 year, starting immediately.
