Job Opportunity: Project Manager
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. Below are the detailed duties and responsibilities:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison between Head Office management and the Site to ensure proper implementation of Head Office functions.
- Develop the project organization chart and define project team members.
- Conduct periodic performance appraisals for team heads and provide professional development opportunities.
- Provide training and incentives to ensure staff motivation.
- Conduct regular meetings with subordinates to enforce company policies and procedures.
- Conduct meetings with core function managers to monitor HSE issues, site progress, quality, and cost performance.
- Perform regular site walkthroughs with the site manager to monitor construction performance regarding HSE, quality, and scheduling.
- Follow up with Planning Department to set the project master schedule.
- Oversee monthly payments, claims settlements, invoices, and maintain positive project cash flow.
- Manage correspondences with the client/owner, engineer/consultant, and subcontractors within project contract agreements.
- Ensure proper execution of contracts with the client, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
- Manage internal administrative issues and client-related matters such as permits, personnel, project social insurance, and sales tax.
- Provide final approval for subcontract agreements related to site activities within authorized limits.
- Ensure project closeout reports are completed satisfactorily, providing feedback and resolving issues.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and regulations and conduct job risk assessments for employees.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSc Engineering).
- Master's degree in Construction (MA Construction Degree preferred).
- Certificate of Project Management (preferred).
- Minimum 10-15 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Knowledge in MS Office, Primavera, Revit, FIDIC.
- Arab Nationalities required.
