Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Specialist to oversee and drive the growth of our Certificate of Conformity (COC) business within a specified region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to expand our market presence, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure exceptional service delivery to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Country to achieve revenue targets and market expansion goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry associations, and clients, to enhance business development prospects.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, and utilize findings to develop targeted business strategies.
• Lead the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional activities, and client engagement initiatives to increase brand awareness and attract potential clients.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of COC service center, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, and operational best practices.
• Implement and monitor performance metrics and KPIs to assess operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction levels, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as logistics, finance to streamline operational processes, optimize resource allocation, and enhance service delivery capabilities.
• Develop and implement training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of operational staff, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
• Provide strong leadership and direction to a team of business development executives, operations, and support staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback and coaching, and recognize and reward high performers to motivate team members and drive productivity.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing to maximize synergies and achieve common goals across business development, operations, and other functional areas.
• Develop and execute strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts for the region, in alignment with corporate objectives and growth targets.
• Prepare regular reports, presentations, and dashboards to provide senior management with insights into business performance, market trends, and growth opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of business development and operational initiatives and recommend adjustments and enhancements to optimize outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
• experience in business development, operations management, or a similar role, preferably in the Certificate of Conformity (COC) services in countries as Iraq Preshipment inspection programme or Saudi Arabia SASO Programme.
• Proven track record of successfully driving business growth, expanding market share, and achieving revenue targets.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and market dynamics related to Certificate of Conformity (COC) services.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and collaborate effectively across functions and levels.
