As an ERP application owner, I'm currently looking to integrate a currency conversion feature to facilitate cross-border transactions. Competent freelancers should primarily focus on the following:

- Development of currency conversion calculation functionality.
- Integration of this feature with the Open Exchange Rates API for accurate and standardized calculations.

Ideal Skills & Experience:

- Experience in working on ERP software enhancements or similar.
- Proficiency in .NET, Java, or PHP (the platform has not been specified).
- Experience with integrating APIs, particularly Open Exchange Rates or similar.( if can only change currency rate manually will be okay )
- Knowledge of financial transactions, currency conversion, and cryptography is a plus.

End goal is to have a smoothly integrated currency conversion functionality with accurate conversions as per the real-time rates provided by Open Exchange API. A successful project will provide a significant improvement to our international business transactions functionality.
